Edith dinner Berlin sommelier pouring wine at long table event

Edith Berlin is a roaming pop-up dinner project, hosting unique culinary experiences in changing spaces across the city. Each event is a moment in time: here once, gone again — shaped by the place, the people and the shared table.

Our cooking is creative, intuitive, and rooted in craftsmanship. We create set menus of five to six courses, as well as generous family-style dinners meant to be shared. What matters most to us is the atmosphere: spaces where people can come together, talk, connect, and let the evening unfold naturally.

Food and wine should be joyful. They should feel alive. Our dinners celebrate flavor, respect ingredients, and honor the craft — but always with warmth, curiosity, and a sense of play.

Edith Berlin is not just about eating. It’s about being together.

Who is Edith

Chef Tim Tanneberger and team garnishing dishes during Edith Berlin pop-up dinner service

Edith is named after Tim’s grandmother.
She loved long evenings at the table — with good food, good wine, and the kind of conversations that slowly drift and deepen as the night moves on. For her, a meal was never just a meal. It was a way of being together.

That spirit is the heart of everything we do.

Edith is created by Tim and Corina, together with close friends from Berlin’s food and wine community. It’s a shared project — shaped by many hands, many ideas and a genuine love for hospitality.

Tim has worked as a chef for more than 15 years, leading kitchens in Berlin and developing a cooking style rooted in intuition, regional products and flavour that tells a story. His work has been recognized with 16 Gault Millau points, Germanys Newcomer of the Year and a Michelin star. But the real core has always been the table: people gathering, connecting, being present.
